Sedefia Company has undertaken a meaningful project that combines functionality and aesthetics by designing a maternity clinic from a 20 FT container with an innovative approach to support public health in Somalia. This project was designed to meet urgent health needs by using limited spaces with maximum efficiency. The design process was carried out under the leadership of expert interior architect Sedef Meriç.
Project Details:
Mobility and Functionality: With its portable structure, the 20 FT container can be used in different regions and can make basic health services quickly accessible.
Compact and Ergonomic Design: The interior space is planned in accordance with the needs of healthcare professionals; It includes all necessary sections such as patient examination area, delivery table and sterilization unit.
Hygiene and Durability: The materials used were selected to meet hygiene standards, and the container was made resistant to harsh climatic conditions.
Energy Efficiency: The energy needs of the clinic were met with innovative solutions such as solar panels, ensuring sustainability.
This project concretely reflects Sedefia Company’s sensitivity to society and innovative design approach. With this work, Sedef Meriç has not only provided an aesthetic and functional solution, but has also made a meaningful contribution to healthcare services in Somalia.
